James Hardie
We chose to use ‘Axon Cladding’ by James Hardie at Morelle House. We where after a Japanese inspired burnt timber aesthetic. The linear texture of the cladding was beautiful in nature. We painted the cladding black to really achieve the burnt timber cladding aesthetic.
Tint Paint
We worked very closely with Tint at Fler House to achieve a warm, cosy and inviting home amongst the trees. Our challenge was to be sympathetic to Robyn Boyds design and the original architectural style of the home. Their ‘couch potato’ colour was the perfect colour pairs with a stunning existing walnut floors.
Plungie Pools
Morelle House was the first house we worked with Plungie Pools. The install was seamless as well as the permit process. Installing the pool onto an engineered slab was effortless. The aesthetic of the Round ‘Arena Pool’ was stunning. We decided to design an out of ground pool to seamlessly sit into the the earth and the home.
BuildHer Collective
We have been working closly with BuildHer Collective team for a few years. We started out our relationship with our Founder Taeler completing the DevelopHer course. A few Podcasts and interviews later our working relationship had blossomed. Taeler from the FTLO Team in now mentoring with the BuildHer Collective as part of their ‘DevelopHer’ Course. And is still an active member in the Develop Her community.
Beacon Lighting
We where on the hunt for a feature pendant light above the island bench at our Morelle House. Our lighting design was to be minimalist but sculptural. Bacon we believe offers a very cost effective range of-lighting and offer a design consult service.
Royal Oak Flooring
We worked closely with RoyalOak flooring to design our Morelle House. The pinky tone of the ‘Natural Suede’ European Oak flooring was stunning. We believe that one of the first materials you should select when designing the interiors of your home is your floor. It sets the tones and style of your overall home. Royal Oak was extremely helpful with their design team sitting down to assist in designing the flow and feeling of the home.
FTLO has worked closely with Haven Kitchen on a number of projects; Morelle, Fler, Gumtree and soon to be Napoleon House. Their kitchen solutions offer an amazing aesthetic and quality. Their installation method was seamless which made the install on site seamless. It goes without saying that Haven has been apart of the FTLO design community for years now. We are always shouting their praises from the rooftops!

DIY Blinds
We worked closely with DIY Blinds to design the window furnishings at Morelle House. We chose a Linen Blend Sheer curtain to the main living areas. With a more minimal aesthetic in the bedrooms with blockout blinds. They where great to work with and their team collaborated on the design process which mede the decision making process easy.
